Children are eligible for government funding for Nursery sessions, usually from the term after their third birthday. The funding is administered by the Nursery but you will be asked to confirm your child’s eligibility by bringing in their birth certificate and stating whether you are claiming funding from another provider. Children are funded for a maximum of 15 hours per week, for 38 weeks per year. Graffham Nursery offers funded places during all sessions. They can bring a packed lunch, or hot meals are available (charged separately by our provider, Chartwells – https://westsussex.mealselector.co.uk).
All fees will be invoiced at the beginning of each term.
- Children must attend a minimum of two sessions per week
- Due to demand, we are unable to reserve sessions unless they are paid for upfront
- We ask for one half term’s notice if your place is no longer required
- Hourly rates are subject to annual review
Children are encouraged to access both indoor and outdoor environments throughout the session, whatever the weather. In winter, we ask that your child brings in wellies, a waterproof coat, a hat, gloves and enough clothes to keep warm. In summer, we ask that you send your child with sunscreen already applied and a sun hat. Your child should also have a spare set of clothes with them every day which should include a top, a pair of trousers, a pair of socks and some pants.
